Cierra Paulson is a mixed media artist based in Signal Mountain, TN; she received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2019. Her early work mainly deals with memorializing her mother’s death along with the farm she had created; the acceptance that the location may stay the same, but you can never return to how it once was. Her current work focuses on material learning and experimenting with natural and recycled materials to explore the intersection of mind and materiality.
